There’s no doctor’s referral needed and we can fix you up with an appointment quickly. We offer appointments at our Grange-over-Sands and Edinburgh branches, or at home if getting to us isn't straightforward.

 

What to expect

 

There's nothing to prepare and nothing to worry about. Here's what we'll do:

 

A relaxed chat first - Before we test anything, we'll ask about your hearing, your lifestyle and any specific situations where you've been struggling. It helps us understand what matters to you, not just what the numbers say.

 

An ear health check - Your audiologist will take a look inside your ears with a small handheld scope to make sure everything looks healthy before we start.

 

The hearing test itself - You'll put on a pair of headphones and listen for a series of tones at different pitches and volumes. You just indicate when you hear them. It's straightforward and there are no trick questions.

 

Clear results, plain English - We'll show you your results on an audiogram and explain exactly what they mean. No jargon, no rushing, and plenty of time for questions.

 

Honest advice - If everything's fine, we'll tell you. If there's some hearing loss, we'll talk you through your options without any pressure. You won't leave feeling like you've been sold to.
